but when i try to add those in bold, i get format problems like
the page doesn't display the rest of the page and shows <td colspan="4" rowspan="2" in my browser

what's wrong? i can't find anything wrong with the code

Do a View Source from the browser to see what formatting problems may be present in the HTML.

i can't post images so i'll just describe:

with the 1st code, everything works well,
my form with the textboxes and all, displays until the end

but with the second code, the form does not continue to display, it stops loading the textboxes and it inserts <td colspan="4" rowspan="2"

i looked at the view source and for some reason, it stops here <td colspan="4" rowspan="2" and does not continue showing the rest of the html code

Can you do this if it will work

Just putting static value
replace the rm.getProcess();
String[] proc = {sample}

This is indicative that your code threw an exception after some output has been flushed from the buffer. Look into your log files for the details of the exception.
