Hi,
i am not usning Ejb, but i don't know how can i get a transcation obj in normal jsp page.
can anybody help me?

For transactions, google Java Transaction API (JTA.) Note that if you are doing something complex enough to require transactions, it really should be in a servlet/Java class rather than a JSP. It's difficult to maintain that much code in a JSP.

Jeanne, I would like to move a word in the last and make it like below.

. . . it really should be in a [moved]/Java class rather than a JSP or Servlet.


You can handle transactions without EJBs. You should read some patterns like DAO, VO and you can also go for some OR Mapping Tools like Hibernate, JDO, etc.
