Hello everyone,
I am trying to print the value ${2+5} or similar in JSP, but it's not working and result shows just the same "${2+5}.
How can I get the desired result.
Is there some configuration I missing at.
Please help.
Thanks & Regards,
Varun Narang.

Sorry for not including the version information with the question.
I am trying the same on Tomcat 5.9, JSP version 2.0.

Have you read the JSP Forum FAQ entry on this subject?

It's obvious that you did not read the forum instructions regarding including version info when posting such questions.

Thanks sir for teaching me a good lesson.
I should have considered reading the existing stuff, which was really useful.

Thanks Vinod for your answer.
But, I was missing at the point of <web-app.....> </web-app>
I didn't provide the correct definition of the above. So, this was not working.
