Normally when you call a page with JSP, the address is something like www.abc.com/rc?file=xyz.jsp
Is it possible to make the last bit invisible, so the user just sees www.abc.com and not the rc?file=xyz.jsp bit?

If you perform a POST rather than a GET, the request params are not placed on the query string.

I guess Rune is refering to the hyperlink.

You can use javascript in case you want to hide the parameters or in case of a form you can use post.

Javascript cannot be used to hide the parameters from a hyperlink.

A hyperlink can, however, be made to create and submit a POST form quite easily.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
