I had downloaded this log4j admin utility from
http://dev2dev.bea.com/utilitiestools/adminmgmt.html

I want to integrate it in my application. I am using WSAD rather than BEA.

Now when I run the jsp I get error message saying

"[4/12/06 5:25:56:217 GMT] 2c42b488 WebGroup E SRVE0026E: [Servlet Error]-[Unable to compile class for JSPZ:\Workspace\ABC\ABC\Web Content\WEB-INF\lib\Jakarta_Log4J.jar(org/apache/log4j/LogManager.java): Public class org.apache.log4j.LogManager must be defined in a file called "LogManager.java"."

I ve added jakarata_Log4j.jar in build path, also all imports are in place.
Am I doing something wrong ?

"java@ harmeet",

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!
