Hello Ranchers,
I'm doing a project in JSP and Oracle.. and finally i completed it with all you help and support.. thanks to all ranchers for helping me!!
After completing the project i just decided to put a complaints and suggestions for the project. ie., there is a complaint box. now i'm using a database.. and it is working perfectly.. but i got another idea!!

the page content is this..

2 radio buttons..
one is complaints and the other is suggestions
then 1 text area
and a submit button!!

if some one just select the radio button complaints or suggestions and type what he want.. and submit the page.. then

it has to come to my yahoo inbox.. to my mail id!!

is that possible..
it is just my idea..

if it is possible just send me some ideas how to workout that module..
thanks for all.. ranchers for giving me support to complete my project and also thanks in advance.. for helping me for this issue!!

regards!!
Aravind

Yes, that's possible, and as you seem to have figured out, JavaMail is the API you would use for that. Where are you stuck implementing it?

ya,

it can be implemented very easily using Javamail API.

-Download the files.
-set mail & activation jars in your classpath.
-run the tutorial available there(it will help in configuring javamail)
-implement it in you project.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
