Hi friends,
I have 1 field as CA number and other field as projnumber this field is optional and iam pulling this projnumber from the database with the help of CA number,in ur application we have an option of keeping the invoices as dratfs/templates and can be submmited later, when we first get projnumbers(there can be multiple proj numbers for 1 ca number)in the dropdown list but with out selecting any projnumber and saving the bill as draft/template and while retriving this saved draft bill iam getting N/A in this projnumber field. This drafts and Templtes are saved on the local db2 database.as we have not selected any item in the drop down list it is taking empty string and we are not making any field as mandatory while saving as draft/template.please can any suggest me some solution regarding this problem..In brief "Create a new billing, with CA with project numbers, The Project # field may have one or more proj #'s to select from. If you save the draft/template and do no select a bms # or have simply not reached that field and decide to save your billing as a draft or template, the following happens. When you retrieve the draft/template, the BMS field no longer has a drop down and the field is now uneditable with N/A, in the field.

m sreedhar,

Please see the 'Use a meaningful subject line' entry in our FAQ.

Since this is a JSP forum, it is already understood that this will be a JSP question. A subject line that lets people browsing the forum know what this question is about will get you better answers.

Also, if you spend a few minutes making your question easier to read, you will probably get better responses. I started reading it two or three times and drifted off before understanding what it is that you're asking.
