JSP on Linux

Hi,
I am trying to deploy my JSP pages on Linux server(with built in Tomcat 5) but my pages are not working.My server has support for JAVA.My pages are not giving errors but only the text part of it is displayed and the scriplets etc are ignored and not working.
Can anybody plz help me
