There is a Project that it is a Project Manage System(Such as Bug Manage System,HR System,Process System etc).
My team wanna use J2EE framework ,and Oracle.
But I am a newbie in J2EE, I have no idea where i can begin. There are so many concept : structs ,spring , hibernate, jsf in this field.
I was confused HOW TO DESIGN this system.
So , you guys have good ideas for me.
I am eager to get your advices.

"saneryee",

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!

Completely ignore all of these frameworks until you have a good understanding of basic servlets and JSP under your belt.

Bear, Thanks your reply.
I wanna know what did these basic knowledges include?
Only JSP and Servlets?
But how can i design this system (without these concepts)?
What does its process like? (maybe like a OA(office automatization) system ).
Thanks

I write many many web applications, and I use none of those frameworks. It most certainly is possible to write even the most complex of web applications using "just" JSP and servlets.

Until you understand the basics, you will not be in a position to decide which, if any, of the framewworks are suitable for you to use.
