How to deploy the folder containing all type of folders? How to use -cfv command on console? PLease tel me the syntax.

What do mean "Deploy a folder"?
Is this folder a webapp?

IN webapps one folder has name cms, it contains other type folders and web-inf folder.
So how to deploy cms folder ?

If you are deploying using .war/ .ear file, Application server will take care of it.

If you are just copying files and folder, you need to copy all sub folder and files.

My blood is tested +ve for Java.

What container (server) are you using?
Is the 'web-inf' directory really spelled with lower case letters?
If so, that could be your problem, it should be WEB-INF.
