Hi,

I posted this Q in the WebSphere forum as well,, since i did not get any feedback from that forum, i thought of putting the Q under this forum..

I used the WebSphere JSP compilation Ant task to compile the JSP's,,,

The compilation was successfull...

However, i dont have an idea to generate the Web-xml fragment relating to this JSP compilation.

I need to remove the JSP's from the Web application and instead use the compiled stuff(translated servlets) in the application. However, since there is no way to update the web.xml ,, i cannot proceed with my objective.

The jasper jspc compiler provides a way to give the path to a generated web xml file (so that the compiler it self automatically generated the required web.xml fragment),,, however,, seems like the Websphere JSP compiler does not provide a way to do this..

Any feedback is appreciated...

Please do not cross-post the same question in multiple forums. It wastes people's time when multiple redundant conversations take place.

If you would like a post moved, please have a bartender or sheriff do it for you.

As the question is Websphere-specific, the Websphere forum is the correct location for the topic.
