Has the Philippines benefited from the offshored jobs that have been brought there? Specifically, is there an IT influx of jobs, similar to India?

IMHO, its not that significant. I think the Philippine government should try to lobby this more in their agenda of economic growth. The government is focus in paying the debts of the state (a.k.a "Strong Republic") . The IT jobs here is not that good duh as i see now. Many of the students here refuses to take IT/CS courses or to any courses inline with IT.
