I've been using JAVA for about 5 years now and absolutely love it! mainly for everything but WEB type development.

I dabbled a bit with WEB development and JSPs a few years ago, enough to know that it really didn't come to me as natuarlly as POJO development did!

But recently i generated a small application using Studio Creator and to my suprise, i see that Creator has a visual development tool for creating JSPs and using it helped me get past my angst about JSP development!

What i'm trying to find out, if there is a tool like Creator, or maybe even Creator, that would allow me to scan in some pretty complex JSP & HTML legacy code and effectively maintain that code via the visual approach?

From what i've read in previoius posts, it sounds like IntelliJ would fit that bill, but that's a pretty expensive tool, and it sounds like it's definitely worth it if you use it's full potential, but what i'm trying to find out is if there is a more specialized, less expensive tool that could also be be used to maintain complex JSPs and HTML?

Thanks very much for any insights!
