Caching disaster

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi guys, my recent post seem to have died so I'm posting another.

In some of my pages I turn off caching. For example, I have a log-in screen. So automatically, after the user logs-in some other pages need to display a certain control panel. It's good, it worked well. However, on some of my pages where the user needs to fill-up a very lengthy application form, when the user submits the form, encounters errors and then presses the back button all the fields he field up are gone! I tried to remove the no-cahce/pragma headers but with the other page having it, it seems to be having a chain effect on some other page.

So as to get to my point, what I want to do is...

- no cache on some of my pages
- cache on some of my pages

Any clues as to what I'm saying? Thanks!

If you're still talking about the same issue, it's better to add any new findings or information to the original thread. Spreading the discussion over multiple threads makes, keeping track of what's already been discussed difficult and wastes peoples time.

I assume you mean this thread:
