Hi,

I was assigned to develop a web application that will require a workflow in which the approver will access the JSP in concurrency making it parallel rather than sequential in approval. Im new in web development, can anyone give me inputs or tips on how to make a program that will allow only one access to the list of approvers and disable the access to the rest until the currently editing the JSP saved and submit it..Hoping for your assistance on this concern..

What is editing the JSP and saving it ? Do you mean to say, the code inside JSP will enable the user to edit some other content (another file or update in database etc) and save it ?

yes, a code inside the JSP will allow the user to access the web form and tag it LOCKED while the form is being edited by the current user, when the user leaves the form, it will automatically be UNLOCKED enabling the other users to edit it one at at time in a parallel manner..
