Doubts in taking date

I have to take a date from user through HTML dropdown box and I have to display past four dates of the user given date on next page.
I also have to pass those dates through session so that I can access that in future anywhere.

What is the procedure of doing this? can any one pl's provide me sample demo code?

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious. Please use a real first name rather than "contactSoumya".

User will give a date as an entry.
I have to display as output the previous four dates and take that dates i session so that I can also use them in future.
