Hi
This is my first post to this group.. Though I am following the group for some time. I need some info about the company called Andale, located in Bangalore..
Specially related to Salary/onsite opportunity/work culture....

I know it is a good paymaster.. Offers almost 6+ to freshers..recruits only from Few top colleges..
What about the salary at senior engineer level, with 3 years exp...

I tried searcing in the previous posts, but nothing is there..

thanks in advance.
regards

.
Their job lising in Bangalore does not give any hint of 'onsite opportunity'.They make online auction automation tools. Also they have product management and Marketing team in place. So I doubt about onsite opportunity.
Their management seems to be good. Also they hire from top colleges so work culture should also be good. .
Also they now targeting Indian exporters. so chances of going 'onsite' may be bleak.

Thanks Arjun for your comments..

Any idea about the number of employees in the company ? worldwide/India office ?
Came to know that some times one has to work in night shift, to manage with the teams in US. Any idea, if it is very frequent, or once in a blue moon..
I mean, is it a kind of regular or really SOME times.. ..

Regards

No idea.Do they have call centers? If you are getting an offer, you can clear your doubt before joining. Also all the positions seem to involve coding/customization etc so will they be having night shift? Now a days many companies advertize the positions for job of programming/design etc but in reality profiles of those jobs are sometimes different. So its better to check before joining.

Hi Arjun
some s/w companies also work in shifts.. according to US times. I appeared in an Interview for one of these companies, And I came to know very late that their regular working timings are 2 PM to 11 PM.
I straight away said no to that.

I really did not meant about night shift that is coming at 9 in night and going in the morning.. what I meant was some thing like the example i gave earlier... I understand that you need to work sometimes on different timezones..and in some it is kind of a routine... but (1) in some organizations, they tell you very clearly, and (2) in some you come to know of that, once you join the organization....

I don't want to get into the bracket (2).
