2. What does the number in (1) correspond to

in decimal?

3. What is the largest possible negative

number? Give your answer in both octal and decimal

form.

(B) Find the 16-bit 2's complementary binary

representation for the decimal number 1987.

(C) Find the 16-bit 2's complementary binary

representation for the decimal number -1987.
