Hi All,

I have to implement a slightly modified version of pagination than used normally.
Our requirement is just to show a Previous & Next link.
We fetch our records through a web service call. So what we get in return
is a list of records plus an identifier which can be used to get the next list of records. This identifier is to be passed to the webservice in the next call to fetch the next set of records.
So we get this identifier only when we do a Next call but not when we do a Previous.
Hence we will have to store these identifiers in something like LinkedList so when the user opts for a Previous selection we can retrieve the corresponding identifier from the LinkedList & make an appropriate call & fetch the data.
When there are no further records it will return a null in the identifier

Can someone share their ideas how do I go about implementing the same.

Sounds like a simple matter of storing the identifier trail in the session.
