Can anybody explain : JSP page cached by browser

Well, the language is a bit sloppy. JSPs only exist on the server, so the browser couldn't possibly cache them. What the browser can (and sometimes does) cache is the HTML page that gets created by the JSP. It depends on the browser cache settings, and the cache headers set by the page.
