Is anybody having idea what is the salary increment (%) in ACCenture, Bangalore.

If your boss does a google search on your name, he will end up in this forum. Then you can think of what effect it will have on your salary increment

My ex- boss used to google the name of all or some of the team members (once in a while, not sure why)

He also used to google the name of the interviewee prior to going for an interview ... and once he did manage to find multiple versions of an applicant's resumes floating on net

Google is one way of finding some ones technical competency aswell. The more the candidate showsup on the technical discussions etc on google, the first impression would be better with the candidate.

depending on his role in the discussion...
If all his input consists of questions of the kind "do my homework for me" and "why compiler fail plz answer asap!!!" that won't make a good impression...

That sort of post is usually on the Sun Forums from someone named "cooldude", "1337hax0r", "jessica simpson" or something similar. Those rarely use their own name.
