Hi all,

does anyone know where to find a detailed specification of jstl core tags? the JSTL 1.1 API Javadocs are not very useful... For example, I am looking for information about which test condition syntax can be used in a <c:if and the API only mentions that there is a 'test' attribute that returns a boolean... (gee thanks!) There is no information at all about what test conditions can be used. Everything I have found so far has come from code examples but it would be great to have a comprehensive source describing the attributes in jstl tags.

thanks in advance
Paul

If what you mean by "test conditions" is what I think you mean, you'll need to look into the EL chapter of the JSP specification. As of JSP 2.0, EL is part of JSP, not JSTL.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
