Hi,

I need to create a dynamic drop down option when I click on specific county it name automaticlly displayed on county field i.e. on Address. I am using JSP as front end and tomcat application server currently.

I think this could be done with AJAX but I m new to JSP and no knowledge of AJAX. I want to know if only ajax is the solution then where in jsp we can add it's code and if we can do without ajax then what would be the solution.

Thanks

If you don't want to use Ajax, you can use JSP but it will require a page reload so that the JSP can redraw the secondary dropdown. But that's pretty 2003... now is the perfect time for you to get Ajax into yout toolbelt.

Of course. Remember that JSP is just a template mechanism for creating HTML pages to send to the browser. So anything you can do in an HTML page, you can do in a JSP.
