calling a JSP from a javascript  RSS feed

hello everybody,
i am new to this forum as well as Java.what i need to do is to call a JSP from within a javascript function.Inside that JSP i need to call a servlet that will delete an user from a repository......deletion part is a simple API call but i need to call that JSP from that javascript.please help me. :-)

You can try using JSP Javascript integration taglib. See this link for more details.

You could rather call the servlet from the jsp directly. Are you looking for a synchronous call or asynchronous call ? You could pass control to the servlet and then display which user was deleted. Is this what you are looking for ?

Making server calls from Javascript code is know as AJAX.
We have an HTML/Javascript forum where AJAX issues are discussed.
