Is there a way we can monitor the message that we posted in JavaRanch?
For example:
is there a way we can see all the message we posted in a webpage?

Thanks,

Hi David,

I am not quite clear on what you are asking for, but I will try to answer based on previous similar questions. Speaking of which, you might want to check out the JavaRanch FAQ to see what questions are frequently asked here.

So, by looking at any of your posts, I can see a line that tells me the time and date you posted your message. In your message above it contains "posted April 23, 2006 09:34 AM". Just to the right of that are a number of icons, the first of which is a link to your profile. Clicking on that icon takes me to a page that displays your publically available information. Just above the "Profile for David Dong" section there is a link to View Recent Posts. So I can now see up to the last 50 posts you made. Hint: You might want to bookmark this page

Alternatively, on the left hand side of the post, it shows that David Dong is a "ranch hand" and has "Member # 78822". So you can go to the Search page and search on that member number in any forum. There is a link to that search page on every page within the JavaRanch Saloon, just below the "Post New Topic" and (if applicable) "Post Reply" buttons. So you can use this to search for just the messages you posted in one particular forum.

Another alternative is to do a Google search for "David Dong" site:saloon.javaranch.com.

Hope one of those helps

Regards, Andrew

Try 100 things. 2 will work out, but you will never know in advance which 2. This tiny ad might be one:
Java file APIs (DOC, XLS, PDF, and many more)
