2.control comes to servlet
3.servlet is forwarding it to one jsp page using requestdispatcher
my question is can i get the value of string name using request.getParameter("name") in jsp.

Hi Jyoti Jadhav,

Welcome to Javaranch.
In the future, please consider that, in a forum dedicated to JSP, the subject line 'jsp' is pretty much useless.

The best way to get an answer for a question like that is to try it.
I'm sure it would take a lot less time to write a servlet, JSP, and an HTML page that attempts to do this than wait for an answer from a stranger on a forum.

Let us know what you find.
