I am considering working as a contract employee in NYC, Chicago, Charlotte or Atlanta but I have no idea what kind of rate I should request. I know my previous companies have billed me out at some ridiculous rate of 150-200 dollars per hour...but I'm not that greedy! Below are some stats about myself:

5 years software development experience
Graduated Cum Laude from James Madison University 1999 Computer Information Systems
Worked For Accenture for 3 years and a small govt consulting firm for 2 years.
4 years solid Java experience.
Consider myself expert with Tomcat, MySQL, Servlets, JSP, Java Language, Model-View-Controller, HTML, SQL

Also experienced in many other technologies/languages but primarily I am looking for a J2EE position. Anyone have any suggestions as to what kind of rate I can reasonably expect?
