Free lancing

Can we work on small free lance projects advertised on the net and make moeny on the side along with our regular 9-5 job. Havent checked my companies' agreement form, but what is the general scenario. I mean if you are not technically employed by another firm, will the company you are working for have an objection to you developing small stuff and hosting it on the net? Would greatly appreciate your inputs and thanks for reading,

I guess as long as you are not going to use your company properties(system, code etc.,) you are allowed to do freelancing. Atleast I didnt find any problem with my employers so far.

If you did freelancing in US while on H-1B, it would technically violate your status. Otherwise -- no problem, it's your time...

The company I work for would take a very dim view of freelancing, if I didn't get approval from my manager first. Check your company's policies.

It smells like buying a job. The "buyers" pay no fees to get the slaves but the slaves pay 15% of their income to get work. Work isn't paid until the client's requirements are met, and it appears to be up to the "buyer" to decide when that is satisfied.
