Hello there,
I'm having to do some validation server-side (not a real site, just question for courswork) and I need to display a mailto: link if there are no errors found.

What I tried is this, but nothing appears on screen, and I'm guessing it's something to do with my '"' marks but I've tried a lot and nothing seems to work.

I've also tried looking up for a java method to do a mailto: link but I couldn't find anything in the API in the HTML section.

This is what I've tried with no success:

Could anyone shed some light on this please?

Thank you.

Hey I slightly edited my original post, as I need to use a variable to make it change for whoever enters their information.

I tried your suggestion but it didn't change anything.

Thank you for quick reply =]

"No success" meaning what?
Does the page blow up?
Are you seeing errors in your logs?

Have you tried printing errors.size() to see what that value is?
What is 'errors'?
How are you populating it?

Is this even being done from within a JSP?

Without more information from you, nobody's going to be able to give you any kind of meaningful help.

Lol, the most obvious error being nothing happened. No need to get your pants in a twist. I realised I'd left a </a> sign out.

Knew I should of brushed up on my HTML.

Silly me!

Thanks

How would that be obvious to us?

Sorry, but I didn't mean to sound rude.

On my original post I put that nothing appeared on screen, and I wrote what I thought the problem was so I thought I had explained well enough.

Didn't mean to sound disrespectful to yourself.

Thanks for replying.
