For the below bean object in JSP how would I do the same in Java scriplet?



Here is my attempt but it didnt work. Please advise because I think I
need to fetch session info?

<jsp:useBean> actually does quite a bit, and exactly what it does depends on what you feed it.

Perhaps it'd be best to tell us what you are trying to accomplish.

And "it doesn't work" doesn't tell us much. I usually take it to mean that your keyboard burst into flames.

when you use the action tag it creates a varible with the name you mentined in the id.

So, you cannot create a String varible with the same name.

You are instantiating UserData and assigning to String. Its Not Possible.

Please post your question clearly.........
