Hi,
I have open a pop up window from a jsp page, and the url like this,
"test.jsp?mode=C&flag=g"
I am recieving the value of flag like this,

String flag=request.getParameter("flag");

The suprasing fact is that , I got the value of falg is "g?name=" .

what is the problem.

Sounds like you have a URL being passed to your JSP as:
"test.jsp?mode=C&flag=g?name="
So maybe you have some other process that intercepts the request and tries to tack on a name parameter and does so incorrectly.

Do you have any Filters being called?
Does your page get processed by a Servlet?
Does your page get passed through a Proxy?

Use your browser to inspect the query string being used to display the page.
