How is the Intigima Pune(Renamed to Emptoris )

Can anybody tell me about the company intigma pune,it has been renamed to Emptoris and recruiting,this company is located in Pune IT park near Aundh.

I just wanted to know about the work culture ,Hr policies.Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Hi Shalini

The story goes like this. Emptoris is a 2nd largest suppy chain product company in free market segment. Till now they outsources their development and customization work to "Virtusa, India Pvt LTD" Hyderabad. The CEO of emtoris "Avner" wanted to own his development centre rather than outsourcing. So he bought a small company Intigma in Pune. The development in Hyderabad will slowly go down as Intigma starts recruiting people like you. Emptoris products has been written using proprietary framework on top on JSP/J2ee. Learning it would be very difficult but it would be interesting. If you are a strong techie you should demand a very good salary.

Intigma as into the same domain Zycus Inc in Bombay was into
basically content classification etc
They were really doing bad and were about to shut down some years back .
no idea bt now though.

Intigma has been an awesome company but I am worried about Emptoris.

from what I hear - the US culture is bad, the company is losing a lot of money and keeps having to raise more, and the sales team only wins when it lies about the competitors as they are coached to do by senior management. I also heard the last product release had 10,000 bugs when released and that their customers are very angry. My friend used to work there but left to join Ariba because she was very unhappy. Now she sells against emptoris and always wins

what ever "pune pam" had said is somewhat right. one of my friend is also working with emptoris. as per his experience, the mentality of company is very poor. they will give you lots work to do, but when it came the time to pay you, they just kick your ass. employee over there won't get their salary on time, it's always around 7-8 th of every month.

Emptoris is certainly a good company of what I know.
Actually Emptoris has acquired Intigma.

I have one of my friends working in that company

Emptoris has been founded in the year 1999

Beyond this even I dont have much information really

whatever ketanshriram joshi has said, is totally wrong. Even i also work in same IT park. As i said previously, one of my closed friend is working there. Emptoris is total hell. The HR persons are one of the most lier persons ever. They will tell u something before joining, create the picture in front of you, as you are joining in heaven. So my advice to you is please do not join emptoris, no matter how much money they offer. But after all money is not everthing.
