Hi All,


i read in javabeat website that we must use http post method for an active resource like jsp and servlet..

then 1.i create one html form called a.html

2. i called b.html from a.html using form action(method is post)... but it is working ...html is a static resource.

so i am doubt about the sentance which i read in javabeat...

please anyone can explain me ?

Have you coded servlets and jsp pages?

You're right to be sceptical about what you read. Whether or not using GET is OK depends on what the server side does. Something that changes state on the server should be a POST, but for merely retrieving and displaying data GET is fine (no matter what server-side technology is used).
