Hello,

I am a Computer Engineer fresher with a Masters in CS. I am looking for some good IT companies in Chennai that would be willing to hire freshers. Does anyone know which are the big companies in Chennai looking for freshers?

Also some suggestions of what skills is mostly being looked out for? My knowledge is mainly in C++/Java/J2EE. I have some Java certifications (SCJP, SCMAD, SCWCD, SCBCD).

Thanks,
Sophie

Look out for yahoo or other web groups for freshers. Most companies send out notices about freshers recruitments or walk-ins to employees etc, and these mostly get into these groups' listings. Or sometimes the HR people themselves post here too.. This can be a good starting point to collecting information, and of course, you have the added advantage of being in touch with people with the same objectives as you.

Good luck!
