I'm having a frustrating problem with a program I'm currently writing. There is a section of the code where I open a Microsoft Access Database and send a query to it. // This code causes an error when the GUI is displayed. wholeTable = actState.executeQuery("select * from " + dMainObj.dtable.getTableName()); // In this while-loop, fill the Datatable with data from // the database for(moreData = wholeTable.next(); moreData; moreData = wholeTable.next()); Later on, in the same application, I attempt to show a JFrame to the user: // This causes a problem when the database code is uncommented. JContain.setVisible(true); If one of these code snippets is commented out, the program runs without error. However, when the both are uncommented, I get the following WinNT error: The instriction at "0x061568d0 referenced memory at "0x061568d0". The memory could not be "read". Has anyone else encountered a similar problem? Does anyone have an idea or solution to this problem?
