Onsite opportunity is good. They may send you to any country in the world like Senegal or South korea. You need to be prepared to go. No choice there. They do not pay much but you are compensated by travel opp.

I have 6 yrs IT exp and 3 yrs project exp in java/j2ee . What should be my expected salary? I am currently working in IBM. I am looking for change as my current salary is very less (that was my mistake, I asked less in IBM interview).

What is your current salary?Add 18 to 20% if you have more than 5 years of experience. Some companies give dramatic increase if they need people desparetely.

My friend with 5 years of exp in Iflex was drawing 5 L. The formula is 1*x where x is number of years of exp. People who ask for more have been rejected.

My friend who quit from iflex recently says that work was great. He learnt a lot. He did not like South Korea but iflex did not allow him to come back or work at a different place.

People are quite stable out there. they may or may not send onsite-it purely depends on the projects. But the pay u r getting in IBM-u wont get very good hike-may be just 10-20%. And after some time u might want to leave i-flex also for the same reason
