Salary will be good, but I guess very few or no onsite chances.

I am working at Tata Consultancy Services, the Indian MNC. Is it advisable to leave TCS in order to join CSC. Please advise considering the long term benefits, like job security, promotions, apprasials.

Delhi NCR region is acutely short of good companies. Is CSC one good company for the people in this region?

CSC wont provide you onsite opportunities like TCS provide but pays you more as compare to TCS. So if you dont have any concerns about onsite go ahead and join. But remember TCS is consulting company where as CSC is purely product based company.

CSC is also a services company. It has many clients. TCS apart from providing services, has its own products. Also, TCS being an Indian MNC, has more job security than any other MNC.

No doubt Salary is very, generally it is said that you need not to negotiate for salary(Specially Noida)

I dont know how Mr. Reddy has got this impression that there are few onsite chances.

I never worked for CSC but My few friends are working there and been to onsite couple of times in the span of two year.

In any organisation onsite oppurtunity depends on your project.

on the other part,CSC holds your educational document for certain time period. Not only this they have agreement that if you are sent to onsite then you will have to work for company ,double of the time period you spent on your first onsite visit.
