date comparison
I stuck with date comparison. The user will enter a date in browser (HTML file). I suppose to check with a date available in Access database. The problem is, date is stored with time in access and what ever i typed is in string format.
so if you have any idea about the comparison, let me know

Take a look at http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-12-2000/jw-1229-dates.html
I hope the article can give you some ideals.
Good luck,
Okay...I took out the period at the end of the URL. Try it now.

I was not able to go to that link.
Prakash, I think you can convert the date to Timestamp and then compare it with the date in the database.
Try the link now. If it still gives you a problem, try making sure you don't have a period at the end of URL.
Hi Peter and Shilpa,
thanks for your mail. I already have the article from Java world. But i couldn't get any points from there. I'll try to convert to timestamp and let you know peoples.
