I thinks this is the best sql basic tutorial I have ever seen: Learn sql queries basics with sql exercises

I started learning here and in one day I understood all basic things about sql. Very good explanation, most of the time even shown by the example of two tables.
 
With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
