I am using code from Just Java 2 for accessing the MS Access sample Northwind.mdb using SQL.
To fetch the data - System.out.println( myResultSet.getString( columnNumber ) ) ; is used.
Some of the characters, like the accent, are displayed as non-printable chars. Is there a way to get all the chars to print correctly. I have looked at getAsciiStream(), but I didn't understand how to used it or know if it would even fix the problem.

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
