Hi,
I am using the Oracle 8i with Java sevlets and JRUN.
I am having problem with connect to the database, I am running on Win-NT.
Here is the error message I am getting every time,
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/jdbc/driver/OracleDriver
at infrastructure.SEOracleDBConnectionPool.createConnection(infrastructure/SEOracleDBConnectionPool.java:26)
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I copied the JDBC drivers to OracleHome/jdbc/lib/classes.zip and NLS*.zip,
When I did compile also I included the drivers dirs.
When I send the request to my servlet then I got the Error.
Does any one have any idea.
Let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Raju

the jar files should be copied to ur CLASSPATH and not ORACLEHOME.
Hope this helps.

more specifically for JRun, you need to tell JRun where to find classes.zip. Go to JRun admin console, Java Settings (under the specific server you are using), Classpath, and append the path to classes.zip. Now, JRun will know where your JDBC drivers are located.
hope this helps.
