I know JBuilder comes with JDataStore. From what I know, JDataStore is a DBMS (am I right?). Are there any advantages/disadvantages to using JDataStore? (I am very new to JBuilder and databases).

JDataStore 4 is a Pure Java, object relational database management system for use in Web, mobile or embedded database applications.
JDataStore delivers true platform independence and portability, enabling developers to create, deploy, and support applications that reach the market faster and at a lower total cost of ownership.
With its small footprint, zero administration, and top performance, JDataStore provides developers with an optimum solution for the Internet age.
