Hi,

Could you guys please specify few drawbacks of working in production support kind of job when compared to development kind of job.

One diff I can see is:
You may have no work or you may have very hectic work

This kind of work is usually outsourced by many companies around the world (to cheap "body" shops such as India) as its seen as boring, undemanding, expensive and tedious.
