Sorry if it is a repost. But i did a search I got lots of results regarding attachment with mail.

Why cant we have an attachment with the post?

So when ranchers post any query, they can submit neccessary artifacts like code, documents etc.

We can restrict the size of attachment to be between the 50K - 100k.
We can also restrict file type to be of zip so that people can compress and post.

What do guys feel?

This forum software does not support it. Upload the file to a server and link to it. There are plenty of free services out there to use.

and there's really no need. Code fragments (and more should rarely be needed) can be pasted into a message.

The vast majority of attachments I've seen in software development forums over the last few years were homework assignments in the form of PDFs or Word documents from kids who were too lazy to even open them and copy the text over to the forum message...
