It depends on the JDBC driver you are using. I that method is part of JDBC 2.0

what is the exception message? Did you create a scrollable resultset? Does your database driver implement the jdbc feature?

Respected Sir,
Thankyou for reply
I implemented the result set as scrollable result like as follows
st = myConusm1.con.createStatement(ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_SENSITIVE,ResultSet.CONCUR_READ_ONLY);
actually it has to show 6 records per page
but, Some times it is showing only 5 records in the first page when we came back to first page
and some times it is showing 6 records in first page when we came back to the first page from the end of record
I used jdbc odbc driver and jturbo driver
i am using jdk 1.3 in windows 2000 server with sql server 2000
pl give me solution
yours
Raj
