Some of my classmates are working right now in GE healthcare,bangalore..From my interaction with them I understand that the work is very good.Lot of good developmental work happens in areas like image processing..But I think there are no onsite opportunities..

hi guyz,

2 months back i had offer from GE...but i turned down..after getting lotz of -ve feed back from my friends/colleages n from public.
work is very hectic..no life, pay is also no soo great.
lotz of work pressure and haressment.onsite it all depends on the kind of project u r into.daily u will be working minimum of 10-14 hrs regularly...i dont find any fun in working for such a long time on regular basis. and also they will put u onto the maintanance projects.soo think twice n take the decision.

all the best.

hi sania,

if u r 3yrs of exp. ,you can expect around 4 to 4.6 lk/yr. and also it depends on the current pay /the grade they give.

GE does a detail verification, both academic and proffesional.they have one detective agency in bombay...who does all these onbealf of GE.the day u accept the offer letter..HR will mail u some 2-3 word doc. u have to fill it and send it back.they will forward that to the agency.in my case they took some 20 dayz.

i hope it helped u a lot.

Is this a tagline for GE. Whenever I hear of GE, someone or the other screams about the hectic work there

haha...ya rt...y v r telling is,people who are joining should mentally prepare..other wise itz very difficult to adjust with their work culture.they are the people who wont forgive for ur mistakes...my friend had experience..he did silly mistake ..and that issue they discussed in his appraisal(which happend after six months)...
and one more thing is,they have one policy...that is 10-40-60,it means ..every year, after the apraisal, they give points,if u scored <=10,then u have to leave the company...

soo be prepare urself b4 entering into campus...

all the best.
