what the download from Sun 'j2sdkee1_2-win.exe' is supposed to mean?
can i have j2ee application running on the files in the download?
i am confused as to what i need to write ejb?

j2sdkee1_2-win.exe is an installer. Run it to uncompress and install the j2ee sdk on your PC.

thanks for the reply.
i installed the package and also downloaded a tutorial on J2EE.
when i try to start the J2EE server by executing the j2ee bat i get the following error:

Even I used to get similar problems when I type "j2ee -verbose". At last after many trials I got a msg saying "server start up completed. So try again.
