oracle home in win 2000

hi, I try to install oracle 8i in my PC (win 2000). It alway gives me an error "oracle 8i can not use 7 or 8 oracle home". I have deleted partial oracle 8 files, which was formely installed. My question is how to delete the oracle home in win2000?
