How should i install j2sdkee1.2.1?

hi,
I am new to ejb.I downloaded j2sdkee(enterprised edition)and jdk1.2.2(standard)now the problem is where should i write my html,servlet and ejb.how should i compile them.
/do i need a web server to do these things.
please help me

I've just done what you described with the Sun J2EE download. I believe it requires NT in the Windows world, I don't think you can run it on 98 but I'm not sure about 2000. Just download the doc files and follow the instructions there to get your application running. I had no problems getting a simple web server to work but I have not yet done anything with beans. Hope this helps.

Hai,
you have to download an application server(weblogic) on windows NT to work with EJBs.

Hi You donot have to go for weblogic. Since you have already installed j2ee server on your mechine you can use it.
add lib and bin directories under j2sdkee1.2.1 to your path and j2ee.jar file under lib to your classpath.
start the server j2ee -verbose
you can find server started after couple of messages.
