Hai,
You have to set up the connection pool in the weblogic application server.if you are using the beanmanaged entity bean write the jdbc connection code inthe bean class.if you are using the containermanaged container will take care of this.you have to specify the connection pool in the deployment descriptor also.
if Iam wrong please somebody correct me.

Hi,
Ok, thats a good topic, in EJB, setting up Database or any jdbc user have to setup a thirdparty database driver tool API to set the connection pool. Then, if you are using weblogic, modify your weblogic.properties file for setting up the connection pool for the specified jdbc diver. use the help document for more on weblogic.
finaly you have to set all your transaction settings and query statements and table specificatiion of transaction manager using any deployment wizard tool is avalable for each application server.
